Sesame seeds can help lower blood pressure and cholesterol while helping boost bone and metabolic health due to rich unsaturated fats, fiber, and lignans. Experts advise these inexpensive seeds can reduce cardiovascular risks by improving blood lipid levels. However, doctors warn individuals with sesame allergies to avoid them entirely, and those on low-oxalate diets to consume them in moderation (VietnamNet)

Health authorities investigate food and water samples following widespread symptoms of vomiting and stomach pain. Medical teams discharge most cadets within 48 hours (Manila Times)
Health officials warn of rising Powassan virus cases across the United States as black-legged deer tick populations surge. The rare tick-borne disease infects humans within minutes, potentially triggering severe brain inflammation, paralysis, and permanent neurological damage. Because no vaccine or specific treatment exists, experts urge the public to use insect repellent, wear protective clothing, and perform immediate tick checks (Fox Weather)

A Lima [Peru] constitutional court orders the National University of San Marcos to permanently offer a vegan menu option in its student dining hall after finding that the absence of vegan meals constitutes indirect discrimination that forces vegan students to choose between their ethical convictions and access to the university’s free food services, rejecting the university’s arguments on cost, procedure and student status and requiring an official survey to plan implementation (LP Derecho)

Previously in Parts 1 and 2 of this multipart series on Dr. Paula Langhoff’s near-death experiences, Paula recalled being six years old when a dark presence convinced her to eat at least half a bottle of aspirin. After everything went pitch black, she said she was drawn through a tunnel of stars into what she later described as Heaven, where she saw a vivid, living field, angels gathered around a huge table, and a three-dimensional plan for her life. Paula wandered into the red brick building and entered the back of the throne room of GOD, where she saw the Father seated on the throne, a sapphire-glass floor, and angels flying around in worship.
Then, after being escorted out, she saw another building — and, as a child who had just learned to read, she wanted to see the books. And now, I’m standing in a big room —just walls of books, shelf after shelf, just solid books. And there’s an angel with me. He doesn’t have wings either, but I know that he’s an angel. I said, “What are all these for?” And he said, “These are the books of everybody’s life.” So, basically, you have a life, you’re in a book. That’s the story GOD wrote about you. And so, I was like, “Well, can I see mine? Can I see my book?” And the angel’s like, “No, that would, in essence, it’d be like cheating, right?” You can’t see what’s in your book while you’re living your life, because it’s actually still being written. Your story’s still being written. Although it was written long ago, you’re acting it out down here.
After leaving the library, Paula says she saw a tall guardian angel. Then, the next thing she knew, she was back in her body the following morning. Paula woke feeling ill, as though she had a stomach flu. Her mother kept her home from school for a couple of days. She told no one what she had seen. Life went on — but the enemy’s attacks on Paula did not stop. Over the years, she survived an encounter with a suspected serial killer from whom she fled, physical abuse at home, a car accident narrowly averted by a warning voice, and an angelic visitation in a parking garage that scared off a would-be attacker.
Then, in 1991, Paula was bitten by a tick and contracted Lyme disease. For 12 years, she says, she lived without a diagnosis while her body deteriorated. By 2003, she was at Mayo Clinic for 10 days, down to 98 pounds [44 kilograms], eating only potatoes and water, with her heart beating erratically from arrhythmia. Doctors there sent her home, saying they did not know how to help her and could not treat her. Back home, exhausted and unsure how to keep going, Paula reached a breaking point.
And so, I’m like, “I’m either going to die of this, Lord, or I’m going to die of this, right?” I guess there’s no other choice, right? And so, for three nights in a row, I’m going to bed at night, and the bed would shake. I’d feel the bed shaking from side to side. Well, it wasn’t the bed, as far as I know. It was me in the spirit. It’s like my body’s trying to shake out my spirit so that I’ll leave. And I’m just going, I don’t know, I’m just surrendered to whatever’s going to happen.
In Part 4, on the third night, Paula wakes to see a bluish-white orb of light enter her bedroom. And it has the presence of GOD on it. So, there’s complete peace. There’s no fear at all. Join us tomorrow for Part 4 of this multipart series on Dr. Paula Langhoff’s near-death experiences. (GOD Encounters with Janie DuVall)
